The Precision Hunting clinic was just what the name implies; it did an awesome job of teaching me how to shoot confidently and precisely in a hunting scenario. As an avid hunter, but beginning precision rifle shooter I learned the basics of how to properly hold my body and rifle together, to a solid breathing process, to finding objects in the scope, and being able to set myself up for a successful decision on whether or not to shoot an animal. I appreciated Clay's knowledge and perspective of hunting and making an ethical decision on whether to shoot an animal or not, I appreciated his view that this is not about killing animals at crazy distances or long shots that often result in injuring an animal, but teaching me to be prepared and knowledgeable to make a kill shot when I am ready! All in all this was a great class for anyone wanting to hunt themselves and see how to shoot off a backpack, or even the experienced guide can pick up tips about how to set a hunter up for successful shots or recognize gun problems they might be having. One of the best tips I got out of the class was to carry a small rifle cleaning/fix it kit, lots of seemingly small things like that that really made this class a unique and exciting course!  Clay is a natural teacher and geek of both subjects, rifles and hunting, and he put together a great course, thanks!
